My Name Is Federal Agent Jack Bauer...

Last night's episode of 24 proved why Jack Bauer is my hero. He had a witness, crucial to the finding of one of the most devistating nuclear bomb in the arsenal of the United States, who had been shot. His girlfriend's ex-husband was in the operating room. The doctor refused to operate on the witness. Jack drew his gun and forced the surgeon to work on his witness. Through his girlfriend's pleas, Jack insisted that he was doing his job. Her ex-husband died. "He knows what needs to be done in order to successfully accomplish his objectives and will stop at nothing to do it."

And These Are The Longest Days Of My Life.

My inspiration is Jack Bauer. Bauer was born in one thousand nine hundred sixty-five in Santa Monica, California. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English literature from the University of California: Los Angeles. He also has a Master’s degree in Criminology and Law from the University of California: Berkley. He is a former Los Angeles Police Department SWAT Team member and a former member of the United States Army’s elite Delta Force. He has earned a Purple Heart and a Silver Star for his services to his country. He currently works for the Defense Department under the Secretary of Defense. He was fired from his last job at the Counter Terrorist Unit: Los Angeles being the Director of Field Operations. During his time at the Counter Terrorist Unit he has successfully halted two presidential assassinations, two nuclear bombs, and a biological viral attack. He is a widower, after his co-worker, Nina Myers, a mole in the agency, murdered his wife, Teri Bauer, while trying to capture after her cover was blown. Three years later Jack avenged the death of his wife by emptying a clip from his Sig Sauer P226 two tone into her chest. He also has a daughter, Kimberly Bauer, who lives in Santa Monica, California with her boyfriend, Chase Edmunds. Jack has been described as an uncompromising patriot for his country. That patriotism is always questioned by his co-workers because of his unorthodox tactics. Bauer has devoted his life to his job serving his country. He makes the ultimate sacrifices necessary to protect this country, such as the death of his wife and becoming addicted to heroine. He knows what needs to be done in order to successfully accomplish his objectives and will stop at nothing to do it. Jack Bauer shows immense courage and bravery in the line of duty and his service record to this country proves it. This is why Jack Bauer is my inspiration. Jack Bauer: the man, the husband, the father, the hero.
